I hope to see easy transportation and infrastructure access road to reach our national parks in other to allow more preschool students and other visitors to enjoy our view.


We can not ignore, existence of insecure situation organized.

Pic Macaya National Park Vascular Plants

Pic Macaya National Park has 665 vascular plant species species.

30% of these vascular plant species are exclusively native to Hispaniola

Threats: Clearance for agriculture, some grazing, removal of trees for timber and firewood, and charcoal production.
